MiniScreen

Privacy Policy

Effective November 7, 2026

MiniScreen collects no data. It has no servers, accounts, analytics or ads.

What stays on your iPhone

The details you enter for each Mac stay on your iPhone: its name, address and username. Your Mac password is saved in the iPhone's Keychain, on that device only. None of this is sent to the developer.

You can delete a Mac at any time, which also removes its saved password. Deleting the app removes the rest.

What goes to your Mac

To sign in, MiniScreen sends your username and password to the Mac you chose. During a session, your Mac's screen, and the keys and clicks you send, travel directly between your iPhone and your Mac over Tailscale. They never pass through anything run by the developer, and nothing is recorded.

Other services

Tailscale connects your devices, using your own Tailscale account. Its privacy policy covers that service.

Apple distributes the app. If you choose to share diagnostics with app developers on your iPhone, Apple may provide anonymous crash reports.

MiniScreen shares no data with anyone else, because it collects none.

Children

MiniScreen isn't directed at children, and collects no data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear here with a new effective date.
